As our tenants know, rent is due on the 1st and late on the 5th. There is a late fee assessed of 10% thereafter. We are often asked to waive late fees are various reasons, all of which are usually valid circumstances. We do not waive the late charges for anyone, as landlords are entitled to that compensation. However, we understand things in life happen and will usually approve a payment arrangement past the 5th, so long as the late fee is included. Communication is key!! Never ignore a five day notice. Call us if rent payment becomes an issue.
